WIMG is a privacy-first image editor for vector images, photographs and raster images. WIMG does not store your information in a remote server, we do not place tracking cookies, we do not monitor your mouse or keyboard movements, we do not see what you draw, we do not require an account, we do not require a payment, we do not collect or share your information. We are extremely privacy-first. When you draw anyting at WIMG, your artwork that is visible on your screen lives only in your browser memory, on your device, within the same tab where you opened wimg.net. Our privacy-policy page describes how WIMG vector image editor operates, the data flow inside your local environment and the requests your browser sends across the network when it loads the page.
Local Processing
WIMG runs as client-side application inside your browser. Opening any vector image, viewing an SVG file, reviewing an imported raster image, all happen locally. WIMG's image editing operations including path manipulation, layer management, filter application, text rendering, color sampling and export to SVG, PNG, WebP, JPEG or JSON file formats all happen through your browser's JavaScript engine. WIMG does not upload your data to a remote server. WIMG is a privacy-first vector image and raster artwork editor. WIMG respects your privacy, intellectual properties, copyrights and trade secrets and does not train AI Models with your content.
The results processed by WIMG lives in your browser's working memory while the tab remains open. Downloading a file from WIMG writes the image data to your local filesystem through the standard download mechanism your browser provides. Closing the WIMG tab clears the working memory along with the rest of that tab's state, unless you enable autosave to local memory, if you enabled autosave, in this case WIMG will remember your last canvas but wimg.net (our servers) will not have access to this information because your data is stored on your device at your local memory and we do not have access to your local memory.
Your Creative Work and Artificial Intelligence Systems
WIMG does not train AI systems nor engange in machine learning. We do neither see, nor learn from your images. We respect you, we respect your intellectual properties and we respect your copyrights. We do not track your mouse movements to learn how you draw; we do not record how you create images to train AI models; we respect you 100%. Remember; WIMG operates as a browser-native application. Your browser runs the WIMG application code, your browser holds your artwork in your local memory, and writes your image file exports directly to your device's filesystem when you initiate a download. The arrow keys you press, the shapes you drag, the colors you sample, the fonts you outline, the exports you generate, all of these image editing capabilities happen inside your own browser, on your device. WIMG does not send your data to a remote server. WIMG respects your privacy. WIMG has privacy-first software architecture. We designed the WIMG system from the ground up especially not to store your data, we do not have a way to train AI Systems with your data because we do not have access to it.
You can observe our privacy-first software architecture and see how WIMG application works directly yourself. Open the browser developer tools, and inspect your network traffic. Clear any existing log. Then use WIMG as you normally would, drawing shapes, editing paths, applying filters, exporting files, converting text to outlines, performing any operation you wish to test. The Network panel shows the requests your browser sends. The visible requests fetch the page itself, the stylesheets, the JavaScript libraries, the fonts, and the icon assets - you will see that WIMG does not upload your data anywhere. When you draw anything at WIMG, your artwork data only moves between your input devices, your browser memory, and your local filesystem - we do not store it, we do not upload your data to a remote server, we do not store your mouse movements; we respect you, we respect your intellectual properties, copyrights and creativity.

Your Creative Process at WIMG
When you design, draw or create anything at WIMG, your creative process, remains yours and yours only; since WIMG does not store, upload or share your data, your creative process is kept secret. WIMG does not have behavioral analytics, WIMG does not have heatmap collection, WIMG does not have event tracking. WIMG has privacy-first software architecture that shows you respect. WIMG does not create a heatmap of your movements, WIMG does not track your keystrokes or mouse movements, WIMG does not upload to a remote server what you do; WIMG is 100% privacy first.
With WIMG, Your Files Stay Where You Place Them
WIMG operates as an account-free application. At WIMG there is no sign-up screen, there is no cloud sync toggle, and there is no device-to-device synchronization; we do not have "remote data saving", "cloud-backup", "AI enhancement" or "account-based " features common in subscription-based image editing software; we don't store your data, not even name nor electronic mail, we do not store your files in our servers, we do not have access to your files. Files you create, open or modify in WIMG live in your browser's memory while you work, in your downloads folder once you export and on your filesystem once you save a project JSON. Your files are in your device, in your computer.
Your Intellectual Properties
Everything you create at WIMG is yours, as long as it is your original design (as long as you did not take someone else's 3rd party IP and load here; everything you yourself create at WIMG is yours). WIMG claims zero rights, licenses, sublicenses, or ownership interest in any artwork you create, import, trace, edit, or process. Your copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, design patents, registered designs, and intellectual property rights remain with you, before, during, and after every WIMG session.
WIMG's client-side privacy-first software architecture means that our image editing application reads from and writes to your local browser environment only. WIMG does not have technical capacity to access, store, copy, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise exploit your content. Every file you open in WIMG occupies your browser's memory for the duration of the session. Closing the tab, refreshing the page, or navigating away clears the artwork data from memory (unless if you enable autosave, a function of WIMG; if you enable autosave then WIMG saves to local memory the canvas so next time you open WIMG you can access this information). WIMG's privacy-first software architecture suits creative work where confidentiality carries weight:

WIMG does not upload, copy or store your files in cloud, in servers; we do not have access to your data never and ever; we designed WIMG to respect your privacy, your intellectual properties and copyrights.
Local Storage and Cookies
WIMG stores small preference values in your browser's local storage to remember your interface choices between sessions. These values, comprising your chosen interface theme between light and dark along with similar visual preferences, exist on your device and remain on your device. Clearing your browser's local storage removes them entirely. If you enable autosave then WIMG will also save the canvas to your memory and you could load your last project even if you accidentially close the canvas. WIMG functions as a cookie-free interface, with our privacy-first software architecture sitting outside tracking cookies, advertising tags, fingerprinting routines, and behavioral profiling systems.
Third-Party Resources
WIMG may load CSS frameworks, JavaScript libraries for font parsing and similar functions, web fonts, and icon assets from external content delivery networks, which supports fast page rendering across regions. Your browser fetches these resources directly from the content delivery networks, which receive standard HTTP request data including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and request timestamp. These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and data handling practices, which sit outside WIMG's control. The resources fetched consist of application code and visual assets.
Network Infrastructure
Your request to wimg.net travels through layers of internet infrastructure ahead of reaching your browser. Your internet service provider, DNS resolver, browser vendor, and any network intermediaries along the route may observe connection metadata such as the domain you visit, request timing, data transfer volume, and your IP address. This network communication methods applies to every website on the internet. Your Local Environment
WIMG's privacy-first image-editing software architecture runs within your browser tab. Software running elsewhere on your device, including your operating system, browser extensions, screen-sharing applications, remote desktop sessions, clipboard managers, password managers, and enterprise endpoint monitoring tools, can sit within view of content displayed on your screen (so if someone can see your screen, they can see what you draw - but we; we do not see what you draw, we cannot see what you are creating). Securing your local computing environment falls under your responsibility and sits outside the scope of any web-based application. For confidential creative work, please review whether your local device and network environment meet your organization's security requirements ahead of opening sensitive artwork in any tool, including WIMG.
WIMG is a professional-grade vector image + raster artwork editor whose privacy is an architectural fact rather than a written promise. WIMG comes with a full desktop-class creative studio that runs entirely inside your browser, with zero account, zero upload, zero server-side processing, and zero possibility of accessing your work, all of which you can verify in real time through your browser's DevTools.
Data Retention
We do not store data. There is no data retention at WIMG. WIMG operates as a client-side application. WIMG web server delivers the WIMG application code to your browser. The WIMG application then runs within your browser session. WIMG does not have databases of user content, user accounts, registration systems, email lists and/or persistent server-side file storage; we do not store your data at all; our servers do not have access to your data; we just deliver you the app that's it.
Visitors of All Ages
Regardless of your age, the same privacy-first software architecture applies to every visitor of WIMG. Visitors of any age interact with our vector image editor application that runs within your browser session, with the same data flow characteristics for everyone. We do not store any data for anyone.
