WIMG is a privacy-first image editor for vector artwork, photograph and raster artwork. Opening wimg.net in any modern browser loads the complete WIMG creative studio into your browser tab. Drawing happens on your device through WIMG. Editing runs in your browser. With WIMG filtering or altering images happens on your local hardware and transforming images proceeds within your browser session. Image generating on WIMG happens on your machine's processor. Exporting an image on WIMG writes the image directly to your own filesystem. Your artwork sits in your browser's local memory throughout every WIMG session.
WIMG does not require an account. WIMG does not collect your name. WIMG never asks for your email address. WIMG never requests your payment information. WIMG never accesses your artwork. WIMG does not track your mouse movements. WIMG does not log your keyboard input. WIMG does not record your creative choices, mouse movements, clicks to train AI models. Your artwork does not travel to any remote server through WIMG. AI systems cannot be trained on your designs through WIMG, because the WIMG architecture prevents the prerequisite transmission (unless of course your screen or input-devices are being recorded by a third-party software, so make sure your screen as well as your input devices (keyboard, mouse and similar) are not being recorded when you use WIMG; WIMG does not record it but because WIMG is sandboxed to your browser we cannot know if someone else is recording; we built our system around privacy so we ourselves cannot record.). WIMG respects your privacy, intellectual properties, copyrights and trade secrets completely.
WIMG's privacy-first sealed workspace brings tons of creative tools and functions. WIMG offers vector primitives. The WIMG drawing toolkit includes pen drawing and bezier drawing. WIMG ships with raster filters. WIMG bundles photographic adjustments. WIMG features generative geometries including L-systems, Voronoi tessellations, Penrose aperiodic tilings, sacred geometry constructions, reaction-diffusion patterns, Celtic knots, mandalas as well as phyllotaxis spirals. WIMG supports technical drawing with CAD-style dimensions, perspective grids, angle gauges, and hatch libraries. WIMG carries three-dimensional visualization through isometric polytopes, orthographic projections, and 2D-to-3D extrusion. WIMG handles serious creative work. The WIMG application handles serious creative work on your device, in your browser, with your artwork remaining yours.
Privacy at WIMG Comes from WIMG's Privacy-First Software Architecture, Not just from WIMG's Privacy Policy
WIMG's privacy claim is structural. Many other online image editors process your files on remote servers. Online image editors of the conventional kind upload your files to some cloud and the remote-processing approach performs the conversion on infrastructure you cannot see, this is opposite to what happens at WIMG. While other server-based image editors return the processed file from a remote machine back to your browser, WIMG does not do that; at WIMG your files never leave your device unless you want to. Some online image editors promise to delete your file after a set retention period and a server-side deletion promise, however well-intentioned, still means your file existed on someone else's computer - at WIMG there is no such risk. When and if your file is processed on a remote server, it traveles across the internet so is open to interception however at WIMG your files remain on your device, providing higher security. Remote-processed artwork are handled by software you cannot inspect but at WIMG you can inspect everything as all calculations happen on your device.
We designed WIMG to be privacy-first from the very first line of WIMG code. The WIMG codebase contains zero server-side image processing code. WIMG ships without an upload endpoint. No file-receiving mechanism exists anywhere in the WIMG application. WIMG runs without a temporary storage directory. The WIMG application includes no processing queue. WIMG operates without any analytics ingestion pipeline. The complete WIMG image manipulation engine lives in the JavaScript that your browser downloads and executes locally on your device. Your artwork cannot reach a WIMG server because the architectural pathway for any artwork transmission to a WIMG server does not exist anywhere in the WIMG application code.
WIMG draws a clear distinction between a privacy policy and a privacy architecture. A privacy policy says "we will not look at your files" while a privacy architecture says "we have no mechanism to receive your files". WIMG operates as a privacy architecture rather than as a privacy policy. WIMG is private by design. The WIMG privacy-first architecture is real and is structural. Anyone who inspects WIMG network activity can observe our privacy-first software architecture directly. Because WIMG does not upload your files to a remote server, your content remains yours, private and confidential.
Verify the WIMG Privacy-First Architecture Yourself in Real Time.
You can observe the WIMG privacy-first architecture yourself in real time. Open your browser developer tools, commonly through pressing F12 or by right-clicking the WIMG page and selecting Inspect. Switch to the Network panel inside your browser developer tools. Clear any existing network log entries. Use WIMG as you normally would, drawing shapes, editing paths, applying filters, exporting files, converting text to outlines, generating patterns, performing any WIMG operation you wish to test. The Network panel inside your browser will show requests for the WIMG page, the WIMG stylesheets, the WIMG JavaScript libraries, the WIMG fonts, and the WIMG icon assets. The Network panel will show zero outbound requests carrying your artwork data. The WIMG privacy-first proof is observable. Anyone can repeat the WIMG verification check. The WIMG privacy-first proof sits entirely within your control. We invite you to look at the WIMG network requests for yourself.
Your Intellectual Property Stays with You at WIMG
WIMG claims zero rights over any artwork you create through WIMG. WIMG asserts no licenses over any artwork you import into WIMG. WIMG holds no sublicenses over any artwork you trace through WIMG. WIMG keeps no ownership interest over any artwork you edit through WIMG. WIMG retains no rights over any artwork you export from WIMG. With WIMG, your copyrights remain yours. With WIMG, your trademarks belong to you. Your trade secrets stay your property. Your design patents continue under your sole ownership. With WIMG, your registered designs sit in your name. With WIMG, your client deliverables belong to your client and to you. With WIMG, your proprietary renderings remain confidential to you. With WIMG, your pre-publication illustrations stay under your editorial control. With WIMG, your personal creative work belongs entirely to you. With WIMG, your work belongs entirely and exclusively to you before every WIMG session, during every WIMG session and after every WIMG session.
The WIMG intellectual property position follows as a natural consequence of the WIMG privacy-first architecture. Because WIMG has zero server-side file handling, WIMG cannot access your content. WIMG offers no path for storing your content. WIMG includes no mechanism for indexing your content. WIMG provides no way to copy your content. WIMG carries no facility for redistributing your content. WIMG holds no licensing channel for your content. WIMG operates with no means of deriving value from your content. The WIMG legal assurance and the WIMG technical reality become the same statement expressed in two different languages: there is nothing for WIMG to license, because there is nothing for WIMG to access. We respect your work. We honor your authorship. We acknowledge your privacy as yours alone. The WIMG privacy-first architecture upholds your work, your authorship, and your privacy automatically, in every WIMG session, without exception.
The Complete WIMG Tool Palette
Inside the WIMG privacy-first sealed workspace lives a complete creative suite. WIMG provides tools across fifteen categories. Every category executes in your browser. Every WIMG tool processes your artwork locally on your device.
WIMG Selection and Snapping
WIMG offers select as your main hand on the canvas for grabbing, moving, and manipulating whole objects. Direct-select inside WIMG handles surgical anchor-point editing inside an object without disturbing the rest of the shape. Select-behind pierces through stacked layers to grab buried artwork. Smart-guides display live alignment hints with edge markers, center markers, and equal-spacing markers. Snap-object pulls objects magnetically into pixel-perfect placement onto other objects, onto anchors, and onto grid points.
WIMG Transform Tools
The WIMG transform toolkit covers move, rotate, spin, reflect, shear, taper, bend, pucker-bloat, balloon, zigzag, roughen, and random-tweak. Free-transform combines scale, rotate, skew, and distort in a single bounding box. Transform-again replays your last WIMG transformation along with duplicates for radial arrays and staircases. Mesh wraps objects with a deformable lattice for rubber-like warping. Perspective-selection projects shapes into faux-3D placement. Distortion-bubble, magnifier-lens, gravity wells, swirl, reshape-area, and objects-on-path complete the WIMG manipulation layer.
WIMG Path Operations
WIMG handles the full pathfinder set including union, intersect, subtract, exclude, and divide. Compound-path produces stencils and donuts with even-odd holes. Outline-stroke converts strokes into editable filled shapes. Offset generates concentric parallel copies. Simplify removes redundant anchors while preserving the original curve. Knife slices through artwork like a scalpel. Eraser wipes over what you draw. Shape-builder makes boolean operations interactively visual. Densify, catmull-clark subdivision, curve smoothing, round-edges, round-corner, child-safe-corner, and reverse-corner refine geometry across WIMG. Add-anchor and convert-anchor give surgical control over path points.
WIMG Drawing and Shape Tools
WIMG includes pen for polyline drawing of straight segments with anchored corners. Bezier handles mathematical curves with adjustable tangent handles. Pencil enables freehand sketching that converts to smooth vector paths. WIMG ships with standard primitives including rectangle, rounded-rectangle, ellipse, triangle, polygon-n (regular polygons of any side count), star (with configurable spikes and inner and outer radii), chamfered-rectangle, L-shape, doughnut, arc, spiral, and organic blob shapes for flowing amoeba-like outlines.
WIMG Generative and Pattern Tools
The WIMG generative toolkit is where WIMG distinguishes itself. Mechanical gears arrive with configurable teeth, depth, and inner hub. Celtic interlacing knotwork weaves the basket-pattern tradition. Penrose aperiodic tilings cover surfaces with kites, darts, and rhombuses. Wallpaper patterns operate under all seventeen wallpaper symmetry groups including p1, p2, p3, p4, and p6. Truchet tile mazes generate labyrinthine textures from simple repeating units. Voronoi cellular tessellations produce cracked-glass and giraffe-spot patterns. Mandala rosettes carry the radial-symmetric ornamental tradition. Sacred geometry constructions include the Flower of Life, the Vesica Piscis, Metatron's Cube, and the Seed of Life. Phyllotaxis spirals match the Fibonacci seed packing of sunflowers and pinecones. String-art draws straight-line envelopes inside polygons. L-system fractal plants and trees grow procedurally through rewriting rules. Constellation diagrams connect scattered dots into starfield diagrams. Guilloché ornamental rosettes produce the spirograph-like security patterns of banknote and watch-dial work. The equation plotter renders Cartesian, polar, and parametric mathematical functions. Euclidean compass-and-straightedge construction performs classical geometric operations. Reaction-diffusion simulation generates zebra stripes, leopard spots, and coral textures. Flower radial copies arrange a shape around a center. The doodle-recognizer auto-corrects hand-drawn shapes into clean geometric equivalents.
WIMG Text Tools
WIMG places typography on the canvas through the text tool. The WIMG text tool accepts font selection, size adjustment, character spacing, line height, and text alignment for every text object on the canvas. Find-replace performs search-and-substitute across the entire WIMG document, which gives editors the ability to correct copy across many text objects in a single sweep. WIMG converts text into editable outlines through the convert-to-outlines operation, which transforms every character glyph into a fully editable vector path. Once outlined inside WIMG, text becomes a set of paths that respond to every WIMG path operation, every WIMG transform, every WIMG fill, and every WIMG filter exactly the way any other WIMG vector path responds. A logo designer can outline a brand wordmark inside WIMG and then warp individual letters with mesh, bend single characters with bend, soften corners with round-corner, or extrude the letterforms into faux-3D depth through extrapolate-3d. Outlined text inside WIMG holds the same geometric flexibility as any shape drawn from scratch through pen or bezier. Custom typography becomes possible inside WIMG when a starting font is outlined and then sculpted into a personalized letterform that the original font does not provide. WIMG preserves the outlined paths as standard SVG paths in every WIMG export, which means a wordmark sculpted inside WIMG travels through SVG, PNG, WebP, JPEG, and EPS exports without dependency on the original font file. The combination of live text editing, find-replace, and outline conversion inside WIMG covers the full typographic workflow from rough copy through final wordmark.
WIMG Raster and Image Tools
Pixel-art inside WIMG provides retro 8-bit cell-by-cell drawing. WIMG includes image placement for embedded photos and bitmaps. Crop-tool trims to a new boundary. Rasterize flattens vector artwork into pixels. Marquee selections come in rectangle, ellipse, lasso, magic-wand, and path forms. Image-trace vectorizes rasters into black-and-white paths. Image-trace-color performs multi-color vectorization through k-means quantization. Halftone produces newspaper-style dot screens. Dither operates through Bayer, Floyd-Steinberg, and Atkinson algorithms. Flatten-selection bakes pending filter effects into permanent pixels. Eyedropper samples color from anywhere on the canvas. Clean-canvas wipes the canvas. Export-area exports a defined region. Paste-clipboard and copy-clipboard handle clipboard operations. Autosave persists your work to local storage.
WIMG Filters
The WIMG filter library includes Gaussian blur, box blur, motion blur, sharpening, grayscale, sepia, invert, noise, saturation, hue rotation, brightness, lightness, and alpha keying for greenscreen background removal. Color-fill operates via gradient mapping. Photoshop-style tone curves enable per-channel adjustment. Levels work with black-point, white-point, and gamma sliders. Clone-stamp paints retouching strokes. Photographic burn darkens specific areas. Dodge lightens specific areas. Smudge smears pixels with finger-paint behavior.
WIMG Three-Dimensional Tools
WIMG renders Platonic and other 3D solids in shaded isometric projection through polytope-iso. The WIMG isometric projection covers the cube, the tetrahedron, the octahedron, the dodecahedron, the icosahedron, and other regular polyhedra at angles where every solid presents a visually balanced three-quarter view. Polytope-front displays orthographic wireframe solids without perspective foreshortening, suitable for technical drawings, exploded diagrams, and pattern templates that fold from flat sheets into physical models. Extrapolate-3d performs 2D-to-3D extrusion with cabinet or dimetric projection, which gives any flat WIMG shape a faux-3D box appearance with controllable depth and viewing angle. Cabinet projection inside WIMG draws receding edges at half scale along a forty-five-degree axis, producing a depth illusion familiar from architectural and packaging diagrams. Dimetric projection inside WIMG places the receding axis at a steeper angle and preserves more visual depth, which suits product mockups, isometric game tiles, and infographic illustration. WIMG renders every three-dimensional visualization inside the same client-side JavaScript engine that handles every other WIMG operation, which means three-dimensional artwork stays on your device along with every other WIMG file.
WIMG Fill and Effects
WIMG fills include linear-gradient, radial-gradient, and a multi-stop gradient-editor with precise position and color control for every gradient stop. Pattern-fill repeats tiles and textures. Luminance-mask handles non-destructive clipping by brightness. The WIMG hatch-library covers concrete, brick, wood, and ANSI engineering standards. Svg-filter provides live editable layer styles for drop shadows, inner shadows, glows, and neon. Blend-modes include multiply, screen, overlay, and difference.
WIMG Brushes and Libraries
WIMG offers a stamp library of decorative icons, arrows, symbols, and emoji. Symbol-sprayer scatters particles like dust, leaves, or sprinkles using your chosen symbol. Symbols function as reusable master components where nested instances update everywhere at once when the master symbol changes. The calligraphy brush provides pressure-sensitive nib-width variation for handwriting and ink effects. Width-edit sculpts the variable-width profile of any WIMG stroke at any point along the length of the stroke. Blob-brush paints filled blobs that auto-merge with overlapping shapes. Morph generates in-between tween frames between two shapes.
WIMG Data Tools
WIMG inserts data charts as bar diagrams, pie diagrams, line diagrams, scatter diagrams, radar diagrams, and donut diagrams. WIMG renders editable spreadsheet-like tables of rows and columns.
WIMG Grids and Measurement
WIMG inserts data charts as bar diagrams, pie diagrams, line diagrams, scatter diagrams, radar diagrams, and donut diagrams. Every WIMG chart accepts inline data entry, label customization, color assignment per series, and axis configuration, with the WIMG chart geometry redrawing the moment any chart input value changes. WIMG renders editable spreadsheet-like tables of rows and columns directly on the canvas, suitable for comparison matrices, pricing grids, technical specifications, schedules, and structured data presentations inside infographic work. Table cells inside WIMG accept text input, numeric input, and cell-by-cell formatting including font weight, alignment, padding, and border weight. Row count and column count inside a WIMG table adjust on demand, with header row styling, alternating row backgrounds, and column-width control giving WIMG tables the visual polish that data-driven infographics require.
WIMG Symmetry and Alignment
The WIMG symmetry tools include smart-symmetrize, which automatically detects and corrects asymmetry in a shape. Symmetry-mirror enables live mirror editing where anchors edited on one side update symmetrically on the other side in real time. Align performs horizontal and vertical alignment with even distribution. Optical-equalize matches the visual size of differently shaped objects through perceptual balance.
WIMG Navigation
Zoom-in enlarges the canvas view. Zoom-out shrinks the canvas view. Pan hand-grabs the canvas to scroll without moving any WIMG artwork. Artboard defines and resizes the canvas page boundary.
Who Uses WIMG
WIMG's privacy-first software architecture aligns naturally with creative work where confidentiality carries weight. A logo designer uses WIMG to finalize an unreleased identity for a startup launch. An industrial designer relies on WIMG when preparing product renderings the day before a patent filing. An entrepreneur turns to WIMG for award submission visuals where timing and exclusivity carry value. An editorial illustrator works inside WIMG on a piece ahead of publication date. A brand team builds pre-launch collateral with WIMG when the material cannot leak. A legal team prepares evidence diagrams in WIMG for court exhibits. A medical illustrator produces figures with patient privacy implications via WIMG. An architect prepares presentation drawings inside WIMG under a client confidentiality agreement. A startup founder builds a pitch deck within WIMG for an unannounced product. A trademark attorney explores marks in WIMG before the trademark application files.
WIMG also serves creative work where confidentiality matters less, while the WIMG architectural protection continues to benefit every user equally. A pattern designer tests wallpaper symmetry groups for a textile collection inside WIMG. A generative artist explores L-system trees, Voronoi tessellations, and reaction-diffusion patterns via WIMG for portfolio work. A mathematics teacher builds geometry diagrams in WIMG for a lesson. A tattoo artist sketches from a client brief using WIMG. A jewelry designer prototypes a new piece in WIMG. A children's book illustrator works on a manuscript inside WIMG. A design student opens WIMG to learn the bezier curve for the first time.
Across every WIMG creative professional, WIMG functions the way a desktop application functions. Your file is your file. WIMG editing happens on your machine. Your work crosses the network when you yourself decide to share your work. WIMG combines the access conveniences of a web application (zero installation, zero platform lock-in, zero version management, zero payment) with the data sovereignty of a desktop application (your file lives on your machine, your editing happens on your machine, your privacy belongs to you).
How WIMG Works
WIMG works in three steps.
Opening wimg.net requires zero download. WIMG installs nothing on your device. No WIMG account is necessary. The WIMG application code loads into your browser tab once. From the WIMG page-load moment forward, the entire WIMG creative studio runs locally on your device.
Every WIMG operation happens in your browser through client-side JavaScript. Your artwork lives in your browser's working memory throughout every WIMG session. Your tools, filters, transforms, patterns, text, and images all process locally on your device through WIMG.
Choose SVG, PNG, WebP, JPEG, EPS, or project JSON as your WIMG export format. Your browser writes the exported WIMG file directly to your local downloads folder through your browser's standard download mechanism. The wimg.net server enters the WIMG data flow exactly once, at WIMG page load, to deliver the WIMG application code. The wimg.net server never enters the WIMG data flow again during a WIMG session.
If you enable WIMG autosave, WIMG persists your canvas to your browser's local storage on your own device, so you can pick up the WIMG canvas where you left off after closing the WIMG browser tab. The wimg.net server does not have access to your browser's local storage. Your WIMG autosave data stays on your machine.
WIMG Is Free, with Zero Accounts and Zero Friction
WIMG requires zero accounts. WIMG requires zero registration. WIMG requires zero email collection. WIMG requires zero payment. Every WIMG tool opens to every visitor from the first WIMG session.
